Lowcountry Physical Therapy Associates has over forty years of combined experience and utilizes state of the art medical equipment to enhance patients’ outcomes.

We are a clinical education site and accept students from Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant programs.

    Amanda grew up in Ohio and has spent her summers in Charleston, SC since she was a child. She graduated from Ohio State University then moved to Florida to receive her masters in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

    She specializes in spinal rehabilitation with manual therapy techniques. Amanda has run two physical therapy clinics prior to opening Lowcountry Physical Therapy in 2003 for Lowcountry Medical Associates. She then took over the clinic in 2005.

    Amanda is married with two sons, one daughter and resides with her family on James Island. In her free time she enjoys running marathons and boating.

    Christine is a graduate with honors in physical therapy of Ohio State University School of Allied Medicine. She owned her own physical therapy practice in Ohio for fifteen years. Christine has over thirty-five years of experience and specializes in orthopedic and geriatric care. She is continuously pursuing additional education to upgrade her skills in patient care.
